Pros

Manage to gather experience and learn about EPCC. From understanding technical drawings down to document controlling to making purchases and paperwork. Understanding different level of work staff and their work loads.

Cons

No. of work days specified as 5 days but some weeks you are required to attend to meetings and calls at irregular hours even stay late for OT. For more than 15 minutes late, you are required to stay back for the minutes you're late, ended with you missing the company bus to MRT. One is not allowed to carry forward the minutes late to the next morning. Turn over for employees is high. People come and leave. Some workers hired not competent enough to do work let alone certified. Lack of manpower also plays a big role in completing projects which lacks in here. Taking leave is almost impossible due to their "earned" leave entitlement and how it is given. Every employee's leave differed due to category but how one define their category is not defined nor explained. Example: general workers are 7 working days, admin staff starts from 7 working days up to 14 working days, and for higher positions 14 working days up to 21 days. The employee handbook is not available upon asked thus making it impossible to dispute the company rules as it is not available nor given access to any employees. If require to take longer leave for holiday trip, must carefully plan and earn the leave entitlement. Marriage leave entitlement - for most company is 5 days but its 1 day for ROS. Work load is mounting as days goes by. One needs to be able to multi task in different roles despite not having the knowledge and learning the ropes as you go along without anyone assistance / guidance. It's every man for himself. One needs to commit to their 3 months notice period (regardless which position you hold) if decide to leave making it less possible to be employed in another company. Monotonous working environment. Not uplifting to work.

Pros

- Very good for fresh EPC learner as you got to expose to many disciplines

Cons

- Salary not paid on time, HR delayed salary - HR always monitor who is working and not working, clock in clock out also monitor, late 1 min also questioning - HR never showed employee handbook and made their own rules instead - ‘3 months notice’ is way too long as a trick for entrapment - Toxic Two faces manipulative cultures - Some bad managers not helping in guidance instead they just throw the work to you and put the blame on you - Organisation not well structured, one person doing 2 to 3 persons jobs, not according to job scope as said during interview and also not as your expertise as just wanted someone to ‘help’ just to complete the job without having the true knowledge or not, so ended up with projects rework problems - No increment no bonus even working years, appraisal doing just for the sake of doing only - Expect you to work even on annual/medical leaves and after office hours, if you don’t follow they will label you as bad attitude
