They aren't the same company. They have old technology that they're desperately trying to update, hoping maybe someone will buy them one day. They're late to the party on almost every new technology and are the opposite of innovative. I think management realized this and it spurned the lay-offs and quarterly restructuring they started doing. Loyalty to long term employees became non-existent and they started dropping anyone with tenure (higher salaries) to bring in new people. I'll admit that some of the lay offs were needed, but many were people who put in a lot of good work for RouteMatch and were then just canned. Remember that family oriented notion I mentioned in the "Pros?" Yeah, that's not them anymore. Another thought, when you're across the street from Georgia Tech, but outsource your development to Ireland because it's cheaper, that isn't a great sign.

Unprofessional management, Senior employees are replaced by new college graduates in order to save budgets. Lots of Yelling. Management is not listening to the employees feed backs. I learned that Route Match's sister Company GeoFields has similar endemic problems. Un professional senior management, and a sweat shop. Experienced employees were let go or they left as the companies try to save payroll. The two sister companies have "Senior management " who are not professional and out of toch. Lots of clicks. Unless you have your click on Senior Management, you are alone. Salary and Benefits are way below the market rate High Attrition As the Software development team is short staff and they are not compensated at the market rate, employ morale is low. About 10 employees were let go recently and they are hiring new graduates.
