Pros
Royal is a small composites engineering company located in the small community of Minden, NE. The people working there are very nice and easy to work with. The company owner recently retired but wanted to keep the company in Minden, so he's selling ownership of the company back to the employees in the form of an Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP). They are currently around 19% ownership, and it's going to take a while to get 51%, but it's a nice ownership culture at Royal.
Cons
The benefits are very poor, and new hire pay is on the low side. There is a tough culture to break into at Royal if you want to move up in the company, and Royal, being a small company, doesn't have much room for advancement. The company recently broke into some major projects bringing growth, but the company's organization is not very good, and their plan to adapt is very haphazard. It will take a good amount of time to learn how to handle this new growth, but for now, everyone is overworked and has been the last 2 years or so.
