Pros
1)Well recognised and NABH accredited hospital so the position looks good on paper. 2) Exposure to Hi-tech diagnostic machinery and techniques and modern treatments. 3) working with distinguished consultants.
Cons
1) Not a pro-learning environment except in certain departments so for a junior doctor for whom , having a teacher interested in education is crucial. 2) No sick leaves ( have to provide a replacement if you are unable to attend duty due to illness- which is very tough given the already existing deficiency of staff. 3) understaffed in terms of Nursing personell which leads to delay in carrying out orders. 4) under trained nursing staff 5) lack of facilities for doctors on night shifts ( No 24 hour coffee shop/ separate washrooms for men and women in staff/ no changing rooms) so the night duties are often uncomfortable.
