Exposure to high-profile and important projects, interesting work, a company that attracts high achievers, have recently hired some highly talented and empathetic new staff members

Cons

Junior roles are tedious with little room for growth and no sense of empowerment, there is a lack of any clear systems or processes to the way that work is done, terrible IT systems, poor pay for the work hours that are expected, some senior leaders are dismissive, if not downright rude, management does not seem serious about addressing problems

Great team culture, opportunities to do strategic work

Unlike other agencies I worked in, Newgate has a great team culture. It has a flat structure and you are never made to feel like you are left alone to drown or do all the work. Your bosses / colleagues are there working alongside you. As a junior person, you also get to work on strategic, high-level work but also get to experience the more boring aspects, like turning documents or planning investor events.
