My plan was always to retire here..not anymore STAY FAR FAR AWAY!
Pros
This was once a great company to work for...unfortunately not so much anymore. And it saddens me because I wanted to stay with them until retirement but it’s become so bad that I am seeking other employment. 3 years or so ago I could have filled this section up..it really saddens me that I can’t even name one pro.
Cons
The regional management team has gone so downhill as well as the management above them. Everyone is on such a power trip, Regionals are no longer supported, it’s tough to get call or emails returned. They rarely come to properties anymore and when they do it’s a show with multiple other regionals and the director. When they do come it’s as if it’s only for show. They don’t sit down and have a conversation. Regionals talk about managers to other managers...it has become so embarrassing and a reputation in the housing community is building. People get promotions or hired for jobs they have no experience in because they are friendly and suck up to the director. And god forbid you speak up when something isn’t right...I’ve seen quite a few employees disappear without notice right after trying to seek assistance or speak up about something they know...the HR department acts like they care and are there for you but if you have a problem DONT FALL FOR IT AND GO TO THEM...it’s a trap, their job is to keep the company from being sued so they will sacrifice you to cover up for upper management.
