It’s been a tough stretch with a lot of changes and uncertainty over the past year or so. Things felt disorganized, and morale wasn’t great. But recently, after the acquisition by another company, there’s a sense that things are starting to turn around. There’s better communication, and new leadership seems to be trying to rebuild. The team still has some really talented people, and when we can focus on the actual work, it feels rewarding.
Cons
It’s still stressful. The challenges haven’t fully gone away, and there’s still some confusion as things get sorted out. Processes could use more detail, and not everyone is on the same page yet. The workload can go from light to heavy, due to delays from engineering. But, it does feel like there is a plan.
Absolutely none. Stay as far away from this dude as you possibly can.
Cons
Manipulative sociopath that opts for profit over ethics and the wellbeing of his employees. Uses phrases like “we’re a family here” and “dig deep bud. Burn the midnight oil”
Puts everyone on salary with phony “management” titles so he can avoid overtime. Expects 60-80 hour workweeks, and then denies vacation. Manipulative in the worst ways, and makes you second guess your worth.
