Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We take all reviews seriously and strive to continually improve SailGP’s workplace environment. We’d like to address some of the concerns you’ve raised.
Regarding bullying allegations, we have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of harassment or bullying. We are committed to conducting thorough investigations into all reported incidents and ensure that appropriate actions are taken based on factual evidence. We encourage anyone who experiences or witnesses misconduct to utilise our Speak Up policy, which provides a confidential platform for raising concerns.
We value diversity and meritocracy in our promotion processes. While relationships are important, promotions are based on demonstrated skills, performance, and alignment with SailGP values. We are continually working to enhance transparency in our career progression opportunities. In recent months, we have introduced a new performance management and job framework system that allows employees to strive for advanced career opportunities and plot their progress with ease.
In terms of strategy and business plans, we understand the importance of consistency. While adjustments may be necessary due our ongoing journey of ascent and evolving market conditions, we are committed to communicating changes effectively to our teams.
Together with our Purpose Team, we are actively reviewing and pushing forwards our sustainability practices to ensure they align with our commitment to environmental responsibility. We appreciate and take on your feedback here which we’ll take into consideration.
As for work-life balance, we offer flexible holiday policies and encourage employees to take time off when needed. We empower SailGP employees to create a healthy schedule that works for their own lifestyles. If employees would like to start or and finish earlier, the decision is theirs. We do operate globally and before joining the team, we are transparent that some roles do require regular evening calls with different time zones. We do encourage these to be limited to Monday - Wednesday to ensure company-wide clarity and routine. We are reviewing our communication practices to ensure that expectations are clear and manageable.
We appreciate your advice to management and are actively working on improving our HR processes, providing comprehensive leadership training, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
