The CTO personally holds vacations hostage by inserting himself as the sole approver, only to let requests sit in a permanent void. When people speak up about this rot, HR is enlisted to weaponize "misconduct" labels—though it’s hard to take discipline seriously from managers who spend meetings huskying down meals on camera.
