Pros

The community is engaged and cares about what you write. Some coworkers are experienced, kind people. Gives young people a chance to cut their teeth.

Cons

They look for young people out of school or desperate people in order to exploit them. Scarsdale is the richest suburb in the country but they pay a wage that is not livable - you almost have to pay to work there. Despite no benefits, no PTO, abysmally pay and understaffing, they expect you to commit a lot more than 40 hours and upper management treats workers poorly and with very little respect or consideration. They are wealthy people out of touch with the people they pay pennies.
