      technically interesting and challenging projects, good training programs

      Cons

      new management is regressive and micromanaging. Poor mix and balance of skills in office leave some overburdened. Note: Gene V. Dyck is not CEO.

      Talented and dedicated engineers and scientists who care about their clients and projects; a strategic vision for the company that is being systematically implemented; strong individual office culture in each of the 19 locations; visible presence in social media and related professional organizations; career growth opportunities and rewarding environment for technical staff; casual dress code; up to date technology and equipment; ESOP distribution and 100% vesting in five years; company contributes to HSA.

      Cons

      Possible work/life imbalance, depending on position, staffing and deadlines; high deductible medical insurance plan; not so much a "con" as the reality of working for a larger firm, but the location of offices and number of people make it financially unfeasible for all staff to ever gather in the same place at the same time.

      Many paths for personal growth in the civil/geotech engineering career path. Upper management recognizes the sacrifices made when traveling for long term jobs. Coworkers genuinely care for your well being and success in the company.

      Cons

      Pros mentioned above do not apply to all offices. Lack of diversity, very white male dominated culture.
