I take pride in working on products that have a meaningful impact on school districts—and SchoolStatus provides that. The environment is supportive, grounded, and low-drama, which makes it easy to stay focused and do strong work. I feel well-supported in my role and confident in my manager and leadership team. I also genuinely enjoy the people I work with every day.

Cons

Honestly, there is probably more money elsewhere in tech. Also—While the work with school districts is rewarding, dependence on state budgets can sometimes result in shifting priorities and unpredictable results
