Pros
Coworkers are easy to get along with and the kitchen environment is super fun. They teach you a lot about kitchen practices and the job is relatively easy. Work load depends on the seasons, winter is busy with a lot of hours and summer is slow.
Cons
Management is untrained, unprofessional, unappreciative, and will not stick up for their staff. The owner is absent and picky, almost no staff have ever met her. When she stops by once a year, she avoids the kitchen and doesn't say hello. Prepare to be overworked, nitpicked, fix the managers mistakes, and try to meet their unreasonable expectations. And be prepared to never be thanked or recognized for the work you put in.
