Pros

Laid back. Little to no pressure from management. Can earn weekly bonus hours for perfect attendance.

Cons

Outdated processes. Resistant to improvement changes. Poor material supply flow. Does not value employees. If you do not join the union (weak union that bends for the company and not employees), you can expect to be treated differently. No follow through by supervisor.

Pros

Good work environment and benefits. Engineering is its strong point and best sales tool. Product differentiation between OEM's maintains customer loyalty.

Cons

Can be a very fast paced engineering environment. Systems in place are unique so it takes a while to understand and be effective. Same as most manufacturing organizations, just takes time.
