Pros

I can't recall any pros while there.

Cons

falsely verbally agreed to me being able to work from home while nearing the end of my pregnancy and had very poor management skills. After working at a corporation with some of the best supervisors I have worked under I now know what to identify as red flags in a job interview and this is definitely one of those companies to watch out for.

Pros

You get money for working there. The owner of Select Society innovations was a nice manager. Nothing bad to say about him.

Cons

Where do I begin. First of all, I was hired for an “HR position” which ended up being a recruiting position. There was nothing HR about it. Simply calling people who apply and trying to get interviews. Secondly, we were told not to tell people anything about the job we were bringing them in for; not what the job was, what it paid, or the hours being given. They wanted us to get people in for an interview so they could explain the job the way they wanted, and make it sound more enticing than it is. And the position posted online was “entry level management” which was a crock because you had to do door to door for months before you could even consider management. The owner of Fast Trak, and clearly the main manager of all 3 entities is a narcissistic and rude person. He barged into the offices daily (mind you there are no doors to the offices) and would start talking to you while you were on the phone with people. He also has poor management practices as there was literally no training whatsoever. My first day I sat in an office with someone and listened to her make calls for 4 hours. That was my first day. He also told me that I was discriminating against people because after I called them 2 days in a row (for a total of 8 times) and left 2 messages, I removed them from the call list for being uninterested. He told me that I should “call them until they answer, whether it be 5 times or 25 times.” I was essentially berated for that even though I received no training to begin with. Not to mention, it took me over a month to get my first paycheck. And you’re supposed to get “bonuses” but that’s a crock because I never got them and they weren’t on my pay stubs (but I’m not pressed because I only worked there for a week and a half and the bonuses were like $5). One last thing was that most of the employees I was around never wore their masks when walking around the office. These offices are as close to being an MLM without actually being an MLM. If you’re fine working under these conditions for $10/hr, then this job might be for you!
