1. Awesome team members. 2. Everyone is easily approachable including founders and CXOs 3. Small team with lot of responsibilities for each one and great scope to create impact on product. 4. Chance to work on something from the ground up. 5. Ownership 6. Great leadership 7. Clear understanding of what we want to achieve. 8. Remote working

As I mentioned in Pros you need to work on things from ground up and fast which is not everyone's cup of tea.

Lots of potential but so far a disappointment

Some very interesting and competent coworkers

Cons

The company started as a potential unicorn but turned out to be a disappointment. An early pivot from payments costed the company a lot of talent. So far management has been unable to deliver. The company was founded in 2021 and has already done 2 rounds of layoffs.

Early-stage fintech tackling a huge market with great early traction and credibility with customers. What's cool about this company is that it's founded by (really top-notch) repeat founders so Sequence is early-stage right now but behaving like a later-stage company in a number of ways. High integrity is one of the core values and definitely embodied. Good for personal growth and learning, and the founders have hired really smart and talented employees so the team is great. The company is growing rapidly and this creates opportunities internally for those who want to seize them.

Company, team and mission is growing quickly, so priorities change rapidly and the team is defining a lot of things as we go along.
