Ability to get extra/new equipment, supplies, products quickly as long as you demonstrate the need 5. Reimbursement for mileage/travel expenses to other facilities
Cons
1. Micromanagement, favoritism 2. No incentive for management to take on extra responsibilities/shifts 3. Low salary when compared to all of the job responsibilities vs. nursing management at other hospital systems/facilities 4. Expectation to be accessible 24/7 by senior leadership who will call/text/email at all hours/times even when it is something that can be handled the following business day. 5. Despite constant meetings and voicing concerns or opinions, little is changed until it is a concern for senior leadership
