RecommendsNeutral OutlookI worked at SilverAnt
Pros
Company have a good office culture. Company plans out work quite well and overtime is not very frequent (Of course it also depends on project to project bases),
Cons
Not much to say as I enjoyed my time here. Studio is better planned work distribution wise, If just more friendly environment can be promoted it will be great.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookI worked at SilverAnt for more than a year
Pros
some friendly colleagues, clean working environment, HR doing a good job
Cons
-Most of the leaders aren't qualified and lack proper leadership skills: At one department, the lead scolded a junior/ mid artiest for using a plug-in tool (which the helps the junior/ mid work to do their work with more efficiency) At other departments, the lead's knowledge of software is really limited etc. -A lot of unnecessary politics. -Only limited people have internet access on their own workstation, the rest have to go 1 floor above to use the internet (only 2 machines available) , that's really time consuming ( In one instance a junior got scolded by the lead because the person needs to get some references and was away from their workstation for a while). -Unrealistic deadlines and forcing to come on the weekend without additional payment. - Not update with the current software updates and relaying on old-school-inefficient methods. - No proper/formal training for the new employees. - Messy pipelines. - Favoritisms come from the higher positions.

Low salary, Bad management, always give very short schedule to finish our project(with very High QUALITY) . No enough resources but still force to run multiple project. The BIG GUY always dreaming to become 'Malaysia Disney'. But failed everytime.

RecommendsNeutral OutlookI worked at SilverAnt full-time for more than a year
Pros
Good projects, can be useful for your future career and building up your portfolio. Salary paid on time, everything is following black and white.
Cons
Management a bit messy sometimes, and tight schedule. Working environment is boring, more like a typical office rather than animation studio, which suppose to be fun and lively

Pros
Some of the team leaders are hardworking, and are constantly trying to improve and contribute more than what is expected of them. New employees can learn a lot from them( if they joined the right team).
Cons
Lackluster management. People all the way from the top to lower levels are very much out of touch with the latest technological trends( not everyone but most, including some in important positions). Frustrating lack of willpower to improve, or even to address obvious flaws. Unable to take criticisms, extremely defensive. Complacent.

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookI have been working at SilverAnt full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
- famous local studio - stable pay and work - clean environment - little to no politics in production area, everyone get along well - they're doing a lot outsource jobs from japan, so it's good for people who wants to do japanese works but can't go to japan
Cons
- most seniors left already - boring and repetitive projects - poor planning, especially schedules, so the artists are often rushed to finish (a lot of OT in general) - no benefit, epf pay always late - below industry standard pay, no bonus for years, salary raise only happens once a year no matter how much you've contributed - the management is very calculative, a lot of politics on that side as well - high favoritism and seniority, juniors are often left in the dark - outdated softwares and technology - people are unhappy so there's a lot of negativity in the studio
