NOT EVEN ONE, WORK AT SIMPLE IS JUST A Nightmare Experience

Cons

I recently had the misfortune of working for SimpleApp, and I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others. My time with this company was an absolute nightmare, and I cannot stress enough how poorly they treat their employees. First and foremost, the treatment I received was nothing short of terrible. It became increasingly evident that SimpleApp viewed its employees as nothing more than machines. There was a complete lack of empathy, understanding, or even basic human decency. It felt like I was just a cog in the machinery, dispensable and replaceable. SimpleApp's approach to its employees as if they were machines extended to their belief that we were incapable of independent thought. It was astonishing how they constantly assumed we were incapable of critical thinking, treating us more like automatons than human beings. This dehumanizing attitude created a toxic work environment that made every day a struggle. The training process at SimpleApp was another source of frustration. Every training session seemed to provide conflicting information for the same procedures. It was mind-boggling how inconsistent and confusing the training materials were, making it nearly impossible to grasp the correct way to perform tasks. This lack of coherence and organization only added to the stress and anxiety of the job. The customer service department, purportedly led by someone in a position of authority, was a complete disaster. This person, who appeared to lack any relevant experience or qualifications, led the team like a dictator. There was a blatant disregard for the well-being of the employees, and it seemed that their leadership style was based more on power than on fostering a positive and productive work environment. Adding insult to injury, SimpleApp displayed a complete disregard for the time and well-being of their employees. Breaks were treated as an inconvenience, and the company seemed to care more about squeezing every last drop of productivity from their workers rather than fostering a healthy work-life balance. The long hours were met with an insultingly low salary, making the job even more unbearable. To make matters worse, the constant demands for proof of work were nothing short of oppressive. It felt like SimpleApp had a fundamental lack of trust in its employees, leading to an atmosphere of paranoia and stress. This incessant need for proof of productivity only served to further degrade morale. In conclusion, I strongly advise against accepting a job with SimpleApp. The terrible treatment, lack of respect for employees, inconsistent training, and oppressive work environment make it a company that should be avoided at all costs. Save yourself the stress and frustration – steer clear of this nightmarish workplace.

Pros

I cannot think of any

Cons

Long and exhausting shifts (12 hours), the product is not very interesting to work with at least for me personally, poor management, total lack of benefits for L1 support level and zero cooperation with other teams within the company. I worked during their high season and due to the fact that the company failed to hire enough employees, they started cutting people’s vacations and making it nearly impossible to take sick leave (even for one day without a doctor’s certificate). They also asked some employees to provide their screen recording at the end of the shift, which is a sign of total distrust and micromanagement. The company is also not transparent with the salary range, I tried to negotiate it to the highest amount they mentioned and they basically refused saying that it would be possible to get a pay rise after the probation period. Obviously, when my probation period ended, it was never brought up again :)
