Pros

Pay is pretty decent in this position. Hourly + Commission. I worked there for a year and asked for a raise 3 times... each time I was told something different regarding changes I needed to make. When I was in top 3 sales every month since I started. But I know we make more then most clinic managers which is pretty bad considering they do ALOT more.

Cons

The president of the company Kyle is probably one of the worst human beings I’ve ever met. He does a lot of belittling, scaring, threatening, and lying. He thinks he’s a god sent to the world and isn’t afraid to tell everyone. He will tell you how hard his life is to make you feel like your problems are not good enough. 5 minute pump ups turn into 2 hour lectures (sorry you were on hold so long) They were trash regarding covid. With my personal situation I could not come in and I let them know... and quote “you put me (manager) and this company in a bad spot” they also don’t track who they give time off to so don’t be surprised if they take away that time off (you asked for 3 months in advance) and give it to another person. They have employees that talk negatively about clients regarding race and sexuality... this has never been properly addressed. I brought it up to them multiple times. Their program does not work... you can get better laser anywhere else.

Pros

Not a lot of other companies hire for laser tech positions, a way to "get your foot in the door" in the laser industry and nothing more

Cons

Encouraged to back bite amongst coworkers Negative workplace Appointment times are so short, no time to do a thorough job, little lone meet the high sales goals that are demanded. Unlikely to receive pay increases or chances to advance Commission on sales is 1 percent..really?! Corporate call center always overbooks the clinics just to get clients in that they've sold memberships to at prices that the techs aren't able to give in clinics..unfair competition No accountability for any mistakes made on call centers errors Unable to treat clients at settings that will be effective because of company's fear of a lawsuit, therefore clients consistently don't see good (or any) results. If tech uses higher settings than are on a laminated sheet, they risk being terminated Getting simple supplies is a huge issue, such as gloves, table paper and drapes to cover clients, techs are expected to purchase them and wait to be reimbursed, sometimes taking up to 5 months make mistakes in payroll, short commission and it's your job to find and point out the errors. Keep their techs under 29 hours a week so they don't have to give them benefits Higher sales goals are continually set with lower compensation or bonus, not very encouraging

Pros

Good hours if you want hours, which you need them since you only make $10.50 an hour. The work is easy, it's pretty much all busy work. Pull charts, send confirmation texts, write note. Experience, you get easy experience as a receptionist.

Cons

Sales. EVERYTHING revolve around sales. If you don't make sales , you are worthless to the company. It gets ugly with the staff because people steal sales trying to make goals. The pay is awful. For everything that goes on, we deserve more than $10.50 an hour. The worst part is there is no advancing in the company. No raises. The call center sucks. Again there only focus is sales too. They screw over the techs by scheduling 10 min appts to 5 min appts causing us to be backed up. Scheduling is the worst I've ever seen. They are booked out months at a time because they keep taking in more new client with only three stores open in AZ. Clients get so mad because if they had to reschedule due to real life problems, they can't get in until next month. Also if a client doesn't show up they get charged a $20 fee, again ALL ABOUT MONEY. Our clients are all entitled. The company is still considered a medical field but if a client has to wait more than 10 mins, they complain. This company is all messed up. Please run, far far away.
