      Horrible culture with untrustworthy management

      -Free breakfast which is not consistent

      Cons

      -Management is full of egotistical power trippers who see employees as statistics to bring them more money -Jobs are insecure and people get fired for petty reasons. Even high performing employees can be turned on without second thought -Turnover rate is abnormally high, there are always a lot of openings -There's no direction in the company. Change and chaos are constant here -Gossiping, insults, and dirty politics are the order of the day. If you don't belong in cliques where you can join in the mess or know how to throw colleagues under the bus to look better, you're not safe -The fact that management is deceitful has an effect on employees. The culture rubs on people negatively -Employee reviews and feedback are trashed and not taken seriously

      Pros

      Simply Group continues to be an excellent employer; the last 4 years have seen the company grow 3-4x in size which has created lots of new opportunities for the employees who show a passion for problem solving and career advancement. Corporate culture is based on performance driven incentives which is reflected in compensation and promotions. Simply offers plenty of flexibility in terms of working hours, location, etc. Currently, the company offers a hybrid work arrangement under which staff is requested to come in once a week to the Toronto office.

      Cons

      Lots of changes have happened in the last 2 years due to the acquisitions and subsequent consolidation; it has been a challenge to keep track of those changes and streamline systems and processes.
