RecommendsPositive OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI worked at Simulia full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Company boasts cutting-edge technology with a broad and loyal customer base. The parent company in France enforces a long term ambitious grand vision which seems in right direction. You get to work on industry-grade problems from many big name companies in major industry fields. Many internal resources and training opportunities to support your work. Managers in tech positions know their stuff well and are mostly helpful when approached. Most colleagues are nice people and highly educated. Management is flexible and respectful to employees. Job security seems high. Company culture is relatively relaxed and employee-friendly. Generally good work-life balance. Benefits are decent. Vacation policies are generous among US companies. The Johnston campus is a nice place in and out.
Cons
Slow and uncertain career path inside the company. R&D is generally underpaid.
