Pros

Decent Benefits, a few nice people. Not much else I can say here, trying to get out this place.

Cons

With a New CEO coming soon, let's see if the rest of the ivory tower buddies last, a lot of overpaid cronies creating a culture of mistrust and silos. The stock prices tells the story, they put out the Q1 earnings, how long did management think they could run at a loss before a major change would occur? Maybe people can get some work done now that this leader is going and will not be yelling how someone will get fired when something does not go to plan. Suck it up buddy this is life in business, stuff gets messy. Looks like they brought in a seasoned experience guy to clean up the mess. The "ELT' drinks and believes their own Koolaide, going on about how they created this open culture of trust and some other buzz words. They trust no one they breed the complete opposite when it come to employees. Asking Employees to be creative and think about what they can do for the company? I guess the 10-15 hour days are not enough, and many weekends getting it done for the company, still not enough? HR should drive the culture, it seems to be driving it into the ground. Where is the work life balance? Every decision to better employee lives is treated as if it was an Act of Congress and they are getting as much done as Congress, zero, zilch, nothing. People leaving every week, it is not the great resignation, they are running from a sinking ship, every person I know is looking for a job, me included. One of the "ELT" went around a table in a meeting to the entire globe pointing out peoples ethnicity. He tried to say it was about the diversity, the words were taken by many as his privileged bias showing. It was embarrassing, horrifying and shocking, people's cell phones were blowing up as this was occurring. I wish I could say someone tried to cut the person off, either they were shocked or they really do not care. This was one of many disgusting displays I have witnessed in my time here. People here are striving to get a severance package. Do not get sucked in by the lure of the money, it is not worth it, you will have no life.

Pros

Pay is decent and remote work is still on the table.

Cons

The merger of Third Point Re and Sirius Group will soon be a case study on how to disenfranchise and burn out your employees. Transparency on the future of the company is non-existent, recognition for the 60+ hour weeks we have been working for over a year comes in the form of "get excited for all the work we still have to do" and headcount has not increased to manage the workload outside of the company hiring some new executive of some nonsensical position every other week. Furthermore, politics and backstabbing are commonplace. The former companies were siloed and inefficient in terms of workflow and certain employees will try to blame others for this to improve their standing.
