Pros

The only good thing I can think of is: You don't have to deal with management much at all as they hide from you most of the time.

Cons

They lie about everything from your wages to your hours. I was hired to work days only and no weekends but keep getting put on the schedule for weekends. Management has completely ignored several attempts to receives answers about this and other questions. Other techs that I have trained with less credentials and experience than me are making more money an hour. Another question management refuses to talk about. Haven't had a raise ever in the almost five years I have worked for the company. I have also been written up for "gossip" of all things after complaining to higher up managers and HR about a supervisor. HR is even ignoring attempts to get answers. When management would not answer these questions, I contacted HR who stated that, "these are questions you should ask your manager". Hello isn't HR supposed to be there to help when the managers refuse to? Finally management changes so frequently that your never really sure of the pecking order anyway!

Pros

Coworkers were sweet, ONE good manager out of the entire group, reasonable pay, my schedule was somewhat flexible, organized enough to really help patients

Cons

Horrific backstabbing & gossip at upper managements level, made them entirely ineffective. The behavior of DC/MD/VA area management is an embarrassment to a company that is otherwise not bad.

Pros

It's a job. Not much to like.

Cons

There is a total lack of communication. Most managers seem to be more concerned with not making decisions that might get them fired than actually working. My manager went into hiding whenever confronted with an issue. Lots of lay-offs the past year and a half, done without thought about what the people who were let go actually did. Horrible morale due to lack of raises for years, cuts in benefits, and an unstable environment.
