Pros

No Pros. This is a fraudulent company.

Cons

Absolutely no empathy for new employees. This company lacks direction in what it wants to do and the senior members are unaware on what their work entails. However, they expect the new employees to know all of the work to be done in a month or less! There are red flags if you are attentive enough to look. They do not provide you with an employee ID or any sort of ID to confirm your employment with them. They do not have anyone performing the role of an HR. This is understandable if the company is a startup. However, they are not one! They will only issue you a laptop at least 5-6 years old, in case they need to fire you during your probation period. They look for the flimsiest of excuses to blame you for not understanding work but will not take the effort to train you. They have 3-4 unrelated videos in the name of training and expect you to check with people on how to work when they do not have the time to help you. The operations team is led by self-absorbed, controlling person(COO) who keep the same daily standup meeting 3 times back to back with most of the people being the same. There is no reason given why this is required as the information shared is exactly the same in all meetings. The COO also sends company wide emails to employees to put up false reviews on Glassdoor so that people want to join the company and not get intimidated by the (well-deserved) low ratings. The COO also has massive fights openly with the CEO of the company where each of them is unwilling to back down because of their massive ego. The CEO is another person who talks about taking the lead on projects and then just plain ghosts. They want all new PMs to be able to work on different kinds of projects but the person they report to(one of the PM Leads) is unaware on how to work on them and has zero clue on how to guide them. They have a scapegoat ready in case there is an issue. This Lead gives information which is unreliable and incorrect and is rejected by the development team, who then ask to get the information from the PM leads! The older employees have mostly left(Because they had a terrible experience themselves) and the new PMs and Project Coordinators barely clock in any work either. Can't blame them much when there isn't that much work to go around. They have NO EMPATHY on people infected with Covid-19 and expect them to work while they're infected. If the employee does take a leave of a week and return, they will fire them immediately without giving them a chance. They have a policy of sending people over to collect laptops in 15 minutes of firing them. How this works is they already decide to fire someone and send someone over to collect the laptop, They have a farcical meeting with them and let them speak but do not reveal that they have decided to fire them already and someone is almost there to collect the laptop. As there is is no reliability in this organisation, avoid it like the plague!

Pros

Snipp has strong products, a relevant market position, and many capable individual contributors across the business. Outside of marketing, there are good people who want to do meaningful work, and the company itself has real potential.

Cons

Key challenges within the marketing function include a lack of consistent professionalism, accountability, effective leadership, and basic standards of respect and decency, which collectively impact team culture and performance. Toxic.
