This was the most disfunctional, paranoid work environment I have ever experienced.

In retrospect, the only pro was surviving the work experience. There were some nice coworkers but any contact outside of work was not acceptable.

Cons

The employee turnover rate was about 95% in 12 months. Based on the recent reviews, it appears that the management has become familiar with Glassdoor and has encouraged employees to place 'favorable' reviews- again the paranoia, always looking at others! We were required to watch fundamental Christian videos on a regular basis. The entire office was video recorded and the videos were reviewed by management. Employees were timed as to how long they had contact with other employees. Paranoia was rampant and it took over a year for me to be comfortable in my new job- constantly looking for the camera. The owner, MV, would go on tirades against employess that she didn't like (with a 95% turnover rate there were many) and would scream, yell, berate and ridicule them. I saw women and men leave her office in tears. This was a weekly occurance.

Over the last 12 years in business we have learned that every individual chooses a set of values to live by such as whether to be honest or dishonest, kind or rude and whether to add value or extract value from relationships. Embracing this truth led to a healthy pruning and intentional commitment to do life’s journey with staff, vendor partners and agents in which these values align. Acting on this realization has now been in our rearview mirror for several years and the result has been amazing. Most of our staff has been with the company for between three and seven years and agents continually comment that Solid Source is the best it has ever been. We are sorry that you did not enjoy your Solid Source experience and wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Solid Source Realty has been nothing but a blessing. The staff, the agents, and the owner has made being apart of the Solid Source family nothing but a dream. Wishing I could stay on the staff forever is something I wish that could have been a reality, but God's plan included moving my husband and I across the country :( Nothing but great things to say, props to MV and Rebecca for setting up the BEST work environment imaginable. Thank you for all you guys do. Working at Solid Source has brought to me and my family a flexible schedule, drama-free employees, and some of the best friends I could have ever asked for. Thank you Solid Source!!! I hope God allows our paths to meet again!!!!

Cons

Working at Solid Source has given me some girl time, opportunity to go out on GNO!!! and most importantly given me a chance to stay at home with my family. Love the people and I love the dream of the company!!
