      SPSU Police Department is a pretty good place to work

      Pros

      I've had a pretty good experience with management staff. They've always been helpful and willing to work with you if you have any issues. Lots of extra training. Tuition Reimbursement after 6 months of employment.

      Cons

      Unlocking of doors, etc but new security guards should help with that. They don't issue you take home cars, every other piece of equipment is included, but a car would definitely be nice.

      SPSU Police suffers from a lack of management. NOT!!

      Pros

      This is an AMAZING place to work at! With such a positive work environment there is no where else I would rather be. Top that with highly trained supervisors and a command staff that is always there for guidance. If you are looking for a career with a great police department then come to SPSU PD. You will not regret it!!

      The pay could be better.
