Always lots of work to do, great team that I get to work with, activities to keep the culture alive, and overall great organization. People are passionate about what they do.

Unknown future due to pending sale (of over a year), sour attitude from employees who are unhappy, and decrease in employee count

The company provides the opportunity to contribute to a team that matters, and all ideas are welcomed and evaluated.

Cons

Engineering department indoctrination training is non-existent. Also, new systems implementation is horrible. They need to get experts on the systems and provide training to improve efficiency.

Every other Friday off. Decent health benefits.

Cons

Weak Supply Chain Leadership. No team cohesiveness between departments. Lackadaisical approach to Compliance (to only give the impression of doing it cosmetically). Little to no training. Toxic work environment.

With the new leadership teams being built Sparton is going in the right direction to fix the changes that needed to be done years ago.

Some instability while changes are happening but nothing unusual when new leadership comes to a company
