Pros

Specialized Recruiting Group is a franchise, so each office has the same large company support but with the individual attention and support of local franchisees who are invested in the business and the community. Most of the time it feels like I'm working with a small company, but then when I need to tap into broader resources or go to a company conference, I realize how large the company actually is and how many resources are available to me. I've talked with people who work at other recruiting agencies, and I would say the work life balance is significantly better here, and my experience has been that I'm not micro managed. Altogether, I think this is a great place to grow my career, and I would definitely recommend working here.

Cons

SRG feels like a startup within an already successful and growing staffing company, Express Employment Professionals. The concept of SRG has been around for a long time, but SRG only started getting the support it needs to truly grow within the last few years. That being said, there are growing pains- which is exciting for some but not for everyone. As with any company in staffing, turnover seems high.
