Pros

Good training programmes. Nice perks on paper but in practice rarely implemented.

Cons

Literally the worst company i have ever worked for. Everyone needs to sound the same, look the same, individuality is not encouraged. Directors do zero work showings up late and leaving early whilst execs and managers do long hours. In my interview, there was talk of 3pm finish throughout August, this never materialised and they're more than happy to take you in and throw you out the next second if you don't fit the type. Very clicky. Also zero diversity, like none at all. If you're a brunette that's considered being diverse if you get my drift...

Speed Communications Response

I wanted to take the time to respond to the points in your review as I take all comments on Glassdoor very seriously. We embrace individuality within the agency and this is absolutely shown in our team which is made up of individuals from all walks of life, experiences and backgrounds. It is the mix of personalities, interests and characters which make the agency what it is. Having worked here you would know we have adopted a hybrid and flexible working, meaning that people can manage their own diaries around home and work. The is also the case with the 3pm Friday summer finish which is open to all over a six-week period with team managing their own diaries to enjoy this seasonal benefit. We do not assess people’s commitment by ‘bums on seats’ or time in office but focus on impact made on clients, team and agency as a whole. I work very closely with the Directors who I know work extremely hard to support their teams and grow the business. In your role they may not have been physically ever present, based on our working model and complete trust in their teams, but I can assure you their commitment and work ethos is to be commended not criticised.

Fun, vibrant agency in Bristol

Pros

I left London to be with my partner in the South West and was so relieved to find an agency that had the perfect balance of ambition and development, which I didn't want to leave behind, with genuine support and caring for its team. I have been supported through maternity leave, return to work and changing from full to part time hours. There are great initiatives for mental health support, socials and fun as well as career development.

Cons

Not a con for me, but we work in a fast paced environment so you have to enjoy that style of working.
