Pros

Toast and jams were provided for free (but then nothing is really free in that place). If you can stand the abuse, it is possible to advance over the top of the rest of the workers - but then you really have to take on the SPIN mentality of kicking people when they are down.

Cons

EBITDA-obsessed directors who will let nothing stand in their way at reaching financial success. This includes annual redundancies. Be very afraid around the time of April when the slashing begins. This happened every year that I was there. Happiness of employees was never considered. Appalling redundancy policy that boarders on the illegal. Shouting downs during meetings. Swearing and abusive behaviour by directors. Everything is done on the cheap to avoid immediate costs. Directors took ridiculous decisions that cost the company lots of money. Morale was at an all time low when I left and in some areas the rate of resignation was running at about 70%.

Pros

Nice teams and people in technology departments. Team management decent and could be a really interesting place to work in the future. Projects could be very attractive but cons take away from this.

Cons

Reactive and no longer innovative. Lost a lot of really good people and you have to ask why? Some senior management not effective and silent to most in the business lacking long term technology vision. Poor project planning leads to frustration amongst teams.
