    Awesome customer service culture Very thorough training

    Cons

    you are treated as just a number going towards closing more and more branches, and that puts a lot of pressure on remaining employees who have to service a bigger number of customers without the bank employing any more help

    Generally nice work environment, good organisational culture compared to most other major banks

    Cons

    Really average pay, hard to make meaningful impact on customer experience when you have to deal with so much bureaucracy, Westpac prioritises Westpac over the rest of the organisations within its group which means we are always lagging behind in technological innovation, absolutely abysmal back-end off-shore support teams who regularly ruin any good customer experience we provide

    was bullied when sale targets weren't met managers only cared about leads had to go on stress leave career progression out of the question A graduate took over managers role when she was on leave when it should have been myself as I basically dealt with everything the manager did. She had no clue and constantly came to me for help
