      This "wellness" company was ironically horrible for my mental health.

      Pros

      Great people, aside from leadership. Get to try out a lot of things. Cute aesthetic.

      Cons

      CEO cannot accept ever being wrong, does not know boundaries, and creates a toxic work culture by pitting employees against each other. Often spoke about sustainability and diversity, but ultimately never cared about those things. Rather than investing budget into employees or useful tools, he sunk money into an incredibly overpriced rental for an office that no one wanted to go to and store that made literally no money (did I forget to mention the custom fragrance and fake skylight?). The concept of Standard Dose is cool, but in reality has no substance and led by a person with no business savvy. Shame! Don't work here.

      Educators are nice to work with if they last long enough

      Cons

      Separation between HQ and floor staff. Communication is all over the place Being watched and creeped on consistently!! Probably the most uncomfortable part. Cameras are connected to several people in HQ phone, which they watch you on your shift when they aren’t even in the building and listen to your conversations and then will try to bring up what you’ve said in a manner of they “overheard in passing” “someone brought it to my attention” to cover themselves. Also, the founder like to walk passed the store and snap pictures of you without you even knowing. Great “Wellness” facade I’ll give them that :) turn over rate is at least 95%.. speaks volume.

      beautiful space, great products and discounts.

      Cons

      no commission, management doesn't care to hear your input, a lot of unnecessary attitude and passive aggressive behavior coming from above.
