Overworked with not enough time or pay.

Pros

There are some very smart people who you get to work with and willing to help you learn. If you have the chance to get to know people, they're very personable and good people but only if you have the time. Platform capabilities are pretty special within ad space. Able to work from home because of everything right now and company is trying to grow.

Cons

You get demanding clients from working anywhere but there is not enough structure to handle requests, communications, or deal with anything being done in a standardized way. Teams are understaffed across the board in every department so everyone has to work at 200% to get things done right. The stress and work does and has not resulted in properly scaled pay compensation to the amount of work being done. As a result there's not a lot of room to grow within these small teams. There's little to no company culture apart from a monthly meeting where it's just to talk about how our numbers are doing. Decent amount of disconnect between the different offices because of time zone and jobs. New hires are briefly mentioned and you're too busy to properly get to know people unless you work directly with them with all the work going on in your day to day. I know this year is hard for a company to adjust but culture and organization in general has been neglected for a while and there just needs to be better structure overall. No way to properly submit anonymized feedback.

Drastic turn for the worse

Pros

20 days PTO, work from home, and the people you work directly with are generally great. When you get the chance to know people, they are kind and can be caring. Variety of clients so generally interesting work.

Cons

Little to no culture at all that is taking a turn for the worse. High expectations to handle workload with low pay, even for the industry. People are overworked across the board thanks to the leadership and good luck ever taking PTO. Management is hiring people who are really unqualified. There are those with egos and attitude now and it shows in the culture. Gone are the days of growing with the company. Prior to the company being sold, Stitcher was scaling and dealing with growing pains already but things are made worse when you hire people who are getting paid too much to do too little.

Stitched together but falling apart

Pros

- There are very intelligent people here and most of them are quite down-to-earth - Work from home/remote due to COVID - The tech we have is constantly improving and does take into account our feedback on features - Long-term clients are happy with performance and our support

Cons

- Onboarding of new clients and staff is messy and becomes extremely stressful as you deal with timelines that are unmanageable and all over the place. - Work life balance / burnout has been an issue ever since I joined and we simply are not bringing on the right people at the right speeds. With that comes resentment for high workload, demanding clients, and compensation that no one is happy with for what you're handling. - Speaking of pay and compensation, the company will take every chance to pay you at least 20% less than the market rate. They will instead dangle a carrot in front of you, promises of advancement and growth, but at the end of the day you'll be looking to leave again once you realize the structure we have is simply not improving any time soon. They will not come even close to matching an offer. I have heard this reinforced from many former colleagues. - When you take all of the above into account, this has resulted in low morale and dreading the holidays or taking on new accounts. Culture is difficult to implement with a remote-first environment, but plenty of other companies are doing it. We need to truly look at this ASAP so we can stop losing staff.
