Pros

The company is relatively big so there is a broad choice of career opportunities within the company.

Cons

Financial struggles have for the past few years resulted in layoffs, which has affected the general atmosphere a lot. The old and somewhat conservative company feels like a huge ship that is struggling to navigate in the fast-paced and agile waters of today.

Pros

Great colleagues who makes your day and without them the work would be overwhelming and nerve wrecking! And great products to sell.

Cons

Bosses who talk bad behind your back to your new colleagues during their interviews... and bosses who don’t have guts to make the change! They have guts to say if you’re missing your name tag but with bigger problems you cannot rely on them. No one listens to employees and changes are happening which are not good for the employees. When you meet the CEO he’s distant and you can see that he actually does not care about the employees as much as he pretends to. And the “customer is always right” goes way too far in Stockmann even tho in some cases they are not right but as long as they keep screaming and complaining they will get everything they want if not from the employees then definitely from the management who just cannot say no to them.

Pros

The company has a good reputation, so customers generally presume you are knowledgeable and respect you. Additional bonus to your salary if you're fluent in English, Swedish or Russian - can up your pay a lot. Challenging working environment where customers generally come to really listen to your recommendations, days can go by quite quickly if you take pride in what you do

Cons

The ridiculous customer service rules that the supervisors generally spy you on, like no leaning on tables and one person always being in charge of greeting new customers - makes it exhausting Health services quite despicable, take the managers' side Ancient phones and computers, making orders is painfully slow The company is really hierarchical, changes from below are frowned upon
