Pros

Great colleagues, collaborative culture, bright people, thorough and good at our jobs. Fun culture, flexible working, superb approach to candidates as well as clients. Stopgap really does live by its values, which is impressive. People stay here for a long time and they do that for a reason, it's a good place to work.

Cons

Recruitment is an intense business, it's full on but probably the same anywhere.

Supportive colleagues who are really good at what they do, strong and transparent leadership and some of the best parties/awaydays around. Strong focus on always doing the right thing by candidates, clients and colleagues. For these reasons some of us have been here for a very long time.

nice people to work with, all ex marketeers

Cons

Founder/owner still runs it, If you dont do it her way, you're out. You get graded on how sociable you are with other stopgappers outside of working hours and woe betide if you happen to have other interests. You even get phoned up when you''re off sick to do some work, etc. I moved to another recruiter and am MUCH happier.
