"Growing IB Brand"
- Work/Life Balance★★★★★
- Culture & Values★★★★★
- Career Opportunities★★★★★
- Compensation and Benefits★★★★★
- Senior Management★★★★★
RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEOI have been working at Stout full-time for more than a year
Pros
- Strong mid-market brand that continues to punch above weight (considering how nascent the IB group is versus established incumbents) - Junior staff offered significant opportunity to "play up" / take on highly visible responsibilities (primarily a product of lean deal teams, but largely attractive to entrepreneurial candidates who are eager to learn) - Industry agnostic focus at junior level allows for good exposure to a wide array of industries - Generally better quality of life versus peer IBs
Cons
- Compensation can be below street, depending on overall group performance (predominantly independent of junior staff's efforts) - Quality of mandates (salability) sometimes leaves much to be desired - Lean deal teams may require junior staff to "manage up," which may be difficult at times when workload is already immense - Disconnect in culture / expectations among different offices (national staffing model)
