Worst company ever worked for

Pros

Shoe allowance, cross brand discounts, modern office, canteen.

Cons

Toxic corporate environment, no meritocracy, corporate office far west. Everything the mother company preaches is far away from reality. It was a great brand and it is ruined by incompetent new management with no values or ethics. The few knowledgeable and nice people were sent away making it a miserable environment. You never know when the person next door or in your team will be fired, making it difficult to come to work every day living in costant fear.

Extremely Toxic and Clicque-y Work Environment

Pros

Shoe allowance, a FEW decent junior employees

Cons

I enjoyed working for a large company with multiple opportunities, however, there is an heir of entitlement and hierarchy within departments. I worked closely with the wholesale team and there was a severe separation between departments with sales having a somewhat superiority complex. There have also been multiple times where actions supposed to be “funny” have been taken too far, at the best unprofessional and at the worst completely inappropriate. It was a struggle to maintain a hardworking communicative environment when this attitude was not shared with upper management.

Lots of changes...

Pros

Good work life balance and stability. Lots of company resources through Tapestry. Beautiful office location in 10 Hudson Yards

Cons

Lots of change as SW is being layered into Tapestry, so one should be ok with constant change and working in the grey. Recent turnover in CEO and several management positions adds to the amount of change and uncertainty. As a result there is lots of turnover in the non management positions, which doesn’t help with overall company morale
