Not the best place to be in

Pros

Meet talented people Exposure to product SaaS

Cons

The top and middle management tend to control everything and often not in the best manner. It’s too hierarchical and old school for a startup. Politics at this level is bad for the company. They fire people as and when they like. So if you are not in the good books of your manager, be ready to leave whenever they feel like it. Pay is below market standards. It’s extremely low compared to other similar startups.

Pros

Some what decent technology stack.

Cons

Superops had a terrible culture. Everything revolves around 1 employee and the owner. They think they can replace everyone. Innovation, creativity and teamwork take a much lower priority than lowering cost and getting a bid for the company.

Pros

You’ll get exposure to production issues almost daily — great if you enjoy firefighting. Some colleagues are genuinely skilled and supportive despite the chaos.

Cons

Leadership is completely hierarchical and politics-driven. Promotions, recognition, and even project ownership depend on who you align with, not what you deliver. DevOps here is just a title — expect manual work, zero automation strategy, and constant “urgent fixes.” No documentation, no process, and no real accountability. Blame is passed down, credit goes up. Micromanagement is rampant. Every small change needs multiple approvals, yet no one takes ownership when things fail. Toxic communication — feedback is taken personally, and technical suggestions are often ignored unless they come from “the right person.” Burnout is common, and work-life balance is non-existent. Business is not growing so management is blaming each other.
