A heavily operationally-focused service model that bills like a SAAS company. No equity for employees...very abnormal for a startup. Post-acquisition bonus checks are nothing compared to executives with equity. A culture of hiring, promoting, and retaining friends and family. The opposite of a meritocratic environment. So much so, that the company abolished performance reviews.

You are siloed and hierarchical, despite your expressed desire not to be. Start including the people who use the platform in making decisions and you will be more successful It takes too long to get changes implemented You are too busy chasing "the Cowbell" (new opportunities), instead of supporting current customers and perfecting their processes.
