Owner would micro-manage and rush production causing steps and procedures to be missed and done incorrectly. A lot of gaslighting over policies and procedures. Owner told the all Mexican warehouse staff that “this isn’t Tijuana, clean it up in here”. If a mistake was made the owner would immediately go outside to talk sh*t about you on the phone with the president of the company. Poor pay scale compared to market value w/ no room for growth and development. Heavy work load w/ little to no recognition. Owner hired an unqualified assistant to run finances & AR/AP, doesn’t have a CPA & often delayed customer orders and transactions due to not reporting payments. High turnover, in my year with the company saw 4 different office personnel and 2 warehouse staff come and go. Outdated systems & inventory control, and a LOT of paperwork. They do a good job of “selling” the role to you & then upon getting hired pile on tasks with very little training & often outside of the scope in which you were hired.
