Pros
This company is meant for those who are willing to put in the extra effort. I was once told that 100% is satisfactory, but 120% makes the difference. This company allows you to pursue new ideas and encourages creative thinking. It's possible to become a manager of a brand new department resulting from your own proposal. The opportunities at your disposal are limited only by how much effort you want to put in it. Management has an open door policy, and will help you out whenever you need it. They are also very keen about your progress. You are able to set your own objectives for evaluations, so you have the freedom of tailoring your growth. Lastly, because of the company’s close ties with Toyota, it is possible to get hands-on with their technological visions and goals in the upcoming years.
Cons
Workload can be overwhelming. There is a lot going on and overtime will be necessary at times, which will make balancing work/family difficult if you do not manage your time well. If you’re strictly a 9-5 person, this may not be for you. Managers are super busy, and can be intimidating to approach sometimes. With that said, the people working here are all very kind, and peers are willing to help and support each other. Managers do encourage you to come to them, and will make time to sit with you one-on-one and discuss any concerns you may have.
