Joining TeamKinetic, an agile and driven organisation, I was presented with the challenge of marketing their Volunteer Management Software. I joined as the first new full-time member of staff beyond the Directors. They welcomed me with open arms and were very supportive in every aspect of my onboarding and employment. The job role had clear a goal, which we then devised objectives and a KPIs for. These helped me to measure the impact of my workload and monitor my progress. I was allowed the freedom to create and explore new campaigns and opportunities provided I could justify my actions – I found this valuable. Working in a smaller business I was able to gain an insight into the full business functions which helped to demonstrate how my work interlinked with Sales and the products development. The company has a positive and ‘social good’ ethos which drives its actions and operations. I found this something really positive and liked knowing I was helping to encourage others to volunteer, drive social action and do good. Certainly, the best thing working for TeamKinetic was how they helped to nurture my confidence and development both as a marketer and an individual. I felt valued as a team member and my thoughts and opinions was listened too. Despite returning to my studies, I have continued my relationship with the directors and feel able to reach out to them if I ever need anything or can offer them anything that is of use. TeamKinetic certainly welcomes you into their family.
