You would expect with the large descrepancy between billables and gross there would be more effort expended in developing a pipeline for the next gig. Bonuses held back due to cash flow issues.

Although the company quickly built a global presence, it never really figured out how to operate as a global company. It was always more focused on sales than delivery which lead to poor performance on too many contracts. They were not paying bonuses on time which caused a lot of dissatisfaction with the staff.
