I joined Telesoftas with high hopes, but unfortunately, my experience has been overshadowed by concerning aspects of the company’s and leadership’s culture. The company underwent significant changes in the past year, including acquisition, new top management, a revamped org structure, and massive lay-offs. Despite the reassurances that “nothing will change significantly,” the reality felt quite different. Important decisions are now made behind closed doors, leaving employees feeling disconnected and undervalued. Additionally, there’s a worrying level of favoritism within the management ranks. Some individuals seem to receive preferential treatment, while others with great potential are overlooked and undervalued. This unfairness breeds resentment and significantly lowers employee morale, a sentiment I experienced firsthand. It’s also disheartening to note that some of the new management roles were filled by individuals unprepared for their responsibilities, exhibiting biased, unprofessional, and even xenophobic behavior. Amidst all the changes, the company still claims to prioritize “employee happiness.” However, it now seems that the focus has shifted. Rather than creating an environment that fosters happiness, the company appears to be letting go of unhappy employees.
