Pros

Before they sold to Vroom, pay was decent, atmosphere was pleasant, and fast paced, rarely boring

Cons

Since selling to Vroom, the entire sales process is like one big customer service call center. As a customer, you will not be able to work with or speak to the same person twice. Very frustrating for customers and sales people. Many other coworkers dropped the ball at some point in my deals which resulted in lost sales and income. I went from making $6,000-$11,000 a month to $2,000-3,000 per month putting in the same amount of effort and enthusiasm.

Pros

The people I worked with were great. As long as you do not have contact with anyone in upper management.

Cons

They are trying to run the business from New York but the majority of the business and vehicles are in Texas. They actually think they are not in the car business, they simply think they are E-commerce that happens to sell cars. So customers can never get in contact with the salesperson they just trusted with thousands of their own money. This is not an online shoe company you idiots. Management in the car business needs to accessible locally not 4000 miles away. If they investors were smart they would get rid of everyone in New York and work at or near the Houston location. The president of the company was not a good fit at Priceline read his Wikipedia page nor is he a good fit here.

Pros

High traffic Hours 9am-7pm

Cons

Dont expect to get any professional training what so ever. Cut throat environment. Management will give your sales away to their team members. Setup for failure. Cheat customers to make management happy. Employees are cool but can't trust most of them in there and do not ask an employee or manager a sales question what so ever or they will steal your sale for their team or rep. Dont expect training from any dept because of their unethical ways of doing business it's probably against the law for them to teach you how to scam customers. Negative environment most employees just complain about how they used to get paid a lot more for screwing over customers. This business may not be around much longer the way they run things. If you do get hired on make sure you collect your commission and base check from the beginning , dont let them steal it cause they will.
