20%+ layoffs just a few weeks ago, showing the utter mismanagement of this company and sounding the death knell of what could have been a great startup. A safe haven in covid, in exactly the right place to support the remote working army, goes full corporate, faceless shill and axes a sizeable chunk of the company with little to no suitable communication. No accountability from the management for the chaos they created. So disappointing for what I thought was a long term company for me. Also to note, Nepotism is rife. Currently trying to find a new position to move on.

A lot of senior management do not have their finger on the pulse, which has allowed 1 or 2 members of middle management to create a devisive and siloed company. Layoffs continue, with 2 rounds of layoffs having now been executed in less than 12 months, resulting in nearly half the company being laid off. Key members during this round have been let go, with some in middle and senior using them as scapegoats. Interestingly, those causing poor performance and displaying poor behaviours and values on a regular basis continuing to influence CEO. A company that had so much potential. If only leadership knew the reality of many team members true feelings on whats gone wrong and what to do.
