Pros

This company will hire anybody.

Cons

If you join this company you will likely face abuse and bullying with your job threatened often. You will be paid significantly below market rate, unappreciated and talked down to by the owner. There is a lot of pressure to process casework quickly with no regard for standards and sign up new clients that the owner refers to as customers, whether they are eligible for a visa or not. The positive reviews posted about this company on GLASSDOOR are fake and clearly written by the owner. This just shows the company's willingness to lie without hesitation.

A horrible place to work in.

Pros

The team is mostly good. Very friendly, hardworking and very willing to help one another out. It's a good place to learn if you need experience and need something on your resume, and are willing to take the first 2-4 months unpaid.

Cons

Everyone, including senior staff, are underpaid and overworked. The pay throughout the company is lower than that of market rate and industry rate. They pay salaries way lower than other migration agencies (not to mention law firms), and gives no commission. Company also hires practical legal trainees (some of whom are not even qualified as PLTs), just because we are lawful free labor and desperate for experience. We then just get made to answer calls in a desk and make sales like in a call center. You don't actually get to do much (if any) legal work. They also charge clients an exorbitant amount. The boss will pressure you to make sales even if clients may not be eligible. They are purely money-oriented and the boss only cares about the money, even if immoral acts will need to be done to get the money. The management thinks that our job is easy. Lawyers are get managed and instructed around by yes-men who have zero experience in managing, zero experience in any legal work, zero knowledge on how it is like to be working on the cases and dealing with the clients. Hours are very inflexible, being slightly late will lead to you getting a warning email, made to take personal leave or sometimes even a pay cut, even if you have stayed late or came in early on most other days. HR is incapable of acting as the bridge between employees and management as everything told to them will get back to the management, which then comes back to bite you. No room for career development. Boss sits by and watches as the "second-in-charge" shouts abuse at us regularly. He also frequenty throws around threats of firing you all the time. The boss often talks behind your back, but these gossips often get back to us. When you choose to leave because of all this, they talk behind your back, call you an under-performer, says you had horrible attitude, was bad for the company, and that they didn't need you anyway.
