- Many talented engineers to learn from and work with
- Interesting and challenging work figuring out how to grow the creator economy and improving the tech
- Decent representation / diversity (in engineering at least)
- Good base pay, RSUs, employee stock purchase program, learning fund and flexible time off
Cons
- There are some growing pains from the transition from startup to mid-sized company. Often changing team and organizational structure and processes.
- General cons of a younger / smaller company: Health benefits aren't as good as bigger companies, no pension plan or things of that nature.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review! We value your feedback and learning about your experience at Thinkific over the last few years.
Thank you as well for sharing your experience with different growing pains at the organization, your transparency is appreciated!
I have waited to post a review to see how the first year post-layoffs affected the company, and the experience has been net positive. Processes have changed for the better, employee happiness has improved, and the stress levels have decreased and improved. I would now recommend this as a great place to work.
Cons
There are still issues around deciding priorities, but these processes are always in flux and shift with feedback. All too often we chase the latest and greatest thing, when we could focus on doing what we do best consistently.

We're very happy to hear about your overall experience at Thinkific and how you'd recommend it as a great place to work :) We are all-ears to feedback on how we can improve the Thinker experience. We'd encourage you to take any other feedback to your leader, in the open AUA form, or the next engagement survey (if you haven't already). Thank you for leaving a review - we're glad you are a part of our team!
Been at Thinkific for about a year and a half, joined a couple of months before the first layoffs (theres been two rounds). Have really enjoyed my time here despite them, the works been interesting from a technical perspective and the benefits are second-to-none. I completely sympathize and empathize with the negative reviews here, however, and if I had been affected by the layoffs I don't doubt I'd be writing a very similar review. Just from my own personal experience, I've really enjoyed being here, outside of those very negative experiences. Unlimited PTO is absolutely amazing and has been greatly encouraged to make use of.
Cons
The layoffs are the obvious one. First one was bad enough, but following up less then a year alter after saying there'd be no more layoffs was killer. Alot of good poeple lost. Culture definitely hasn't recovered from them as of yet, will take time.
