Dishonesty- nepotism- reactive instead of proactive

Fellow employees were normally fun, caring and hardworking individuals, great benefits and hours, flexible scheduling, generally constructive associate managers.

If you want a higher salary or a guarantee at employment, make sure you're a relative of a member of upper-management. Upper management in general lacks in communication skills, honesty, transparency and trust in their employees. This makes working for them difficult at the easiest of times and impossible at the worst of times. I can't tell you how many times their reactive nature towards anything business related tanked profits or put employees under ridiculous time constraints. My direct boss blatantly lied to me about the role I would be taking on, and I was once chewed out because he was having a bad morning. Professionalism isn't a strong suit of many of the management members, sadly. Furthermore, rumors and general cattiness is rampant among some employees. It's high school all over again!
